ANZ downgrades China 2025 GDP forecast to 4.2% from 4.8% previously

As for 2026, ANZ sees the Chinese economy expanding by 4.3% - down from their previous projection of 4.5%. Despite the downgrade, the 4.2% growth projection is still on the higher side. UBS is expecting a figure of 3.4% and Goldman Sachs 4.
